Mutton Pepper Thalakkari (lamb head Masala)

All I took....

Lamb head-1 cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces (brain should be separated) sliced (The butcher will do it for us)
2 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic crushed
3 tbsp pepper powder (fresh)
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 chillies slit
2 onion finely sliced
5 twigs curry leaves
3 tbsp coconut oil
Salt to taste

And then ......

Marinate the cleaned meat with coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger, garlic and salt for half an hour.
Keep the brain separate and Pressure cook the other portion of marinated meat for 20 to 30 mins or until soft with just enough water.
In a pan heat the oil. Add onion, green chillies and sauté it until golden brown.
Then add the cooked meat and marinated brain and sauté it till dry and dark brown. Finally add the garam masala and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Top it with few coconut oil and fresh curry leaves
.
Serve with chapathi or matta (boiled) rice.
